Do you know the blog Oh la la livia? Well, if you didn’t know already, Olivia is a fab Aussie living in Paris. She’s a whizz in the kitchen and a wonder with all things tea & superfood. I learned this recipe I’m about to share with you on her blog.

What you’ll need for a yield of about 16:

-300g dates
-1/2 cup organic cocoa nibbs
-4 tbs chia seeds
-1/2 cup shaved cocnut
-1/2 cup cocoa

One of these alongside your espresso in the morning will give you the boost you need! Craving them yet? Find out the original recipe in detail right here.

Bon appétit!

I’m not allergic to gluten, but I know many people who eat gluten-free. For gluten-free eaters and all gourmandes, have you been here? It’s delish!

As all of you gluten-free eaters know, the land of pastries and turtlenecks, Paris, is not in 1st place in this domain…

Well, even though Paris may be a bit late, it looks like more gluten-free options are popping up around the city.

Helmut Newcake, which is supposedly the first gluten-free bakery in Paris, offers 100% gluten-free goods on everything in their shop. It’s a new take on French pastries, and has been such a success!

Now that I’m hanging in the 10th a lot more, I’ve FINALLY had the opportunity to pop in and check out these gluten-free desserts that I’ve heard oh-so-much about.

In addition to sitting in for brunch, lunch, or a tea-time snack, they’ve also got a lot of gluten-free products available for purchase, including pasta, cereal, sauces and cooking ingredients. I can’t wait to bring my mom here next time she visits.
