The Club never ceases to amaze me. I just love this place, and gosh are they friendly. We went there last Saturday to celebrate Victoria‘s birthday, and it was just magic.

We had the entire basement to ourselves, and it was perfect for chatting over a deliciously unique crafted cocktail or a chilled bottled beer. Of course a club sandwich was a must-have when the hunger bug arrived. Have you tried their club sandwiches? Yum…

I am also madly in love with all of their cups & glasses.

On a side note, something about celebrating birthdays is just so wonderful. So many smiles and so much emotion. I love being around people on their birthdays as they glow with all of [most of, or some] their close ones in one space.

Downtown Littleton’s Jake’s Brew Bar

The folks behind Kate’s Wine Bar opened a new little gem in downtown Littleton: Jake’s Brew Bar. Jake’s Brew Bar is like a coffeeshop and pub combined, offering delicious Novo coffees and craft beer in a lovely and cozy atmosphere. It’s pretty much fantastic. Since my mom just loves this place, it was at the top of our list for our day out together. As it was quite early in the morning, we went with an Irish Coffee and a morning snack.

The brew bar is decorated all around the owner’s father’s personality & hobbies, Jake (Kate’s hubby). There are vintage sports posters & ads as well as battle knick knacks all over to emphasize the old-fashioned masculine feel. It sure is a throwback! I’m a big fan of the huge vintage wool American flag that’s hanging in the entryway. Gosh, I keep thinking about how fun it probably was to decorate this place.

If I lived in the Denver area, I think I would be at Jake’s all the time to hang out, read, relax or even just play board games and sip a delicious craft beer. It’s totally my cup of tea.

The restaurant was filled with the most precious decorations and knick-knacks. I was completely in my element. Lovely Olivia invited all of her closest pals, and we celebrated her birth into this world and the continuously blossoming friendships over a few bottles of wine.

The venue was cozy and filled with so much life. The house wine and French nibbles were just fabulous… I can’t wait to go back there.

Something about going out to cozy places in the winter is so charming to me. Bundling up to stroll along the lit streets while rubbing your hands together to keep them somewhat warm. Oh, winter…

Brunch at the Barbershop

The Barbershop is one of the 11th’s staple places for all things trendy. Brunch, cocktails, dinner… in a great atmosphere… pourquoi pas?

Ana Clara and I went for brunch a week or so ago, and it was a great place to hang for a bit… Such a cozy environment… Nice and open, which is quite rare in Paris I find.

I had the Eggs Benedict with salmon, one of my all time favorite dishes, which was absolutely delicious, and the menu came with a carrot cake. Just a fabulous side note, they have bottomless drip coffee.

I’m anxious to come back and try their delicious cocktails that I keep hearing so much about.
