It’s been a while since I’ve posted on a Photobooth.
In Paris we’ve got quite a few old-fashioned photobooths, and this one is on the 1st floor at the Citadium near Saint Lazare.
When an old friend is in town, I can’t think of a better thing to do than getting a photostrip.

Sometimes a cupcake is just what you need on a cold winter day. Sugar Daze is the perfect place for that. Olivia and I go sometimes to indulge in the deliciously moist cupcakes that Cat has to offer. It’s a little getaway, we can chit chat and flip through magazines with a cup of tea. I stepped out of the box this time and tried a new flavor, as I usually go with barbe à papa. The cherry on top is that Sugar Daze also now has several new flavors on the shelf.
A little sweet tooth is never a bad thing, right?
I’m not a cupcake addict, I swear. I’m a Sugar Daze addict. It’s comforting being a regular, wouldn’t you say?

The other night, Cat had us over to taste some of her new cupcake fantastic flavor creations.
We cupcake lovers & some familiar faces grouped together, from different cultures, backgrounds and professions, to indulge is these little treasures. Boy, were they all good.
On a side note, have you seen Jessie’s adorable illustrations of Sugar Daze? Jessie is a food stylist and illustrator with a whole lotta talent.
She was there sketching up a storm digitally. Her illustrations are fantastic and pure magic. Check out her blog here.

The homies behind Candelaria have opened the new bar, Glass, in south Pigalle. With a focus on music and beer, this place is high on my fav’s list after my first visit there this week.
Glass is offering a menu packed with high quality beers, cocktails and boilermakers. You can order delicious hot dogs and assorted homemade pickles to go with your Brooklyn Brewery IPA pint! How perfect does that sound?
Let’s just say that the growler has been introduced in Paris… and I couldn’t be happier.
