Rose Bakery on rue des Martyrs - De quelle planete es tu? 1 Rose Bakery has always been a go-to spot for lunch or brunch with the girls. It’s precious and has delicious food of high quality. Paris houses a few of these lovely cafés on the left and right banks.

This English bakery is boho as can be and is ideal for your inner-foodie. When you walk in you can see their ingredients stacked and presented left and right, organic or from small producers. They’ve got a menu that varies and there is a little something for everyone. One of my personal favorites at Rose Bakery is their homemade juice. Whether it’s for lunch or a cake, it’s a lovely place to pop in and escape the cold (or the heat!).

This early Spring Haleigh and I popped in for lunch while strolling in the 9th arrondissement. We were welcomed with a smile, and it was calm and cozy as can be. Their egg dishes blow my mind.

In Paris we’ve got quite a few old-fashioned photobooths, and this one is on the 1st floor at the Citadium near Saint Lazare.

When an old friend is in town, I can’t think of a better thing to do than getting a photostrip.

Winter cupcakes at Sugar Daze - De quelle planete es-tu? 1 Sometimes a cupcake is just what you need on a cold winter day. Sugar Daze is the perfect place for that. Olivia and I go sometimes to indulge in the deliciously moist cupcakes that Cat has to offer. It’s a little getaway, we can chit chat and flip through magazines with a cup of tea. I stepped out of the box this time and tried a new flavor, as I usually go with barbe à papa. The cherry on top is that Sugar Daze also now has several new flavors on the shelf.

A little sweet tooth is never a bad thing, right?

I’m not a cupcake addict, I swear. I’m a Sugar Daze addict. It’s comforting being a regular, wouldn’t you say?

We cupcake lovers & some familiar faces grouped together, from different cultures, backgrounds and professions, to indulge is these little treasures. Boy, were they all good.
