These vintage Valentines are just a hoot. I can’t get over how precious they are. I want to meet the people who wrote the copy.
I am now having a nostalgic moment of decorating a box to bring to school for exchanging valentines. It was always so difficult to choose which theme to go with. What a fun tradition.
What are you doing for your Valentine this year? I’ve got a few things up my sleeve…

I love vintage valentine’s cards and your selection is absolutely wonderful – especially the mermaid!
So amazing, right!?!
my valentine this year will be receiving a star wars themed one…just in time because i was just informed that we will be getting a death star ice cube mold very soon for scotch haha. last year i did this: http://thedelicateplace.com/2012/02/14/lovestruck/
I love this, Melissa! How interactive and thoughtful!
This is amazing, Melissa!! Hope your heart day is filled with all things lovely.
These are so amazing! I wish they made them like this, still! I read an article recently about a woman that has been collecting vintage Valentine’s for 40 years and has been told she has the best collection in the world – imagine that! Her name’s Nancy Rosin should you wish to get on the Googes.
I’ve gone all crazy stalker lady and stuck my friends’ heads in a heart…

That is amazing. What a clever collection…. EEP! I totally wish they still made them like this…
I love the ones with the mermaid and with the mummies! So adorable. The last time I was visiting my parents, I found a box of old Snoopy & Woodstock Valentines from when I was in elementary school :)
