Sometimes it’s hard to avoid black on these cold gloomy days, isn’t it?
We got a bit of sun this week, and I sure do hope for more. I love strolling in the winter sunlight. Sometimes if it wasn’t for the leafless trees and empty sidewalks, in a photo you could guess the season would be summer, when in fact it is 1 or 2 degrees celsius. Silly, right?
I passed this door this week in the 16th. Isn’t it just wonderful? I had never seen anything like it. I love the turquoise with the copper. It was the perfect blink I needed after the tessellation of beige buildings in the 16th district.

Black is my go-to color pretty much all the time (which I try to change but ultimately go back to…maybe Paris is wearing off on me… :-)
