Autumn colors are here.
Did you see Elodie‘s post La Friterie? Guess who!
This is just too cute for words.
Are more food trucks coming Paris’s way? I hope so.
So much inspiration in the TED talk by Sarah Kay.
Did you see my pictures on Merci Alfred on the fabulous Colorova? EXCITING.
Wandered the Marché Richard Lenoir yesterday with Ana Clara. So many treasures.
How was your weekend?

Those preserves are adorable. I need to get over to Oberkampf one of these Sundays.
WIthout researching like a crazy stalker I can’t figure out whether you live or visit Paris like your about page states. Either way I wanted to get your insight on how to practice your french without french people to speak to. How do you do it? I go through bouts where i listen to french news online but that seems to dissipate quickly and loose my interest. Then my relatives in France call me and I have to do a hack job explaining what I mean until they come up with the word I am trying to find. It is like oral charades…if that makes any sense. The sad part is that French was my first language. So I can have awesome conversations with a six year old….perhaps. Love your blog and insights. Hope to put them to good use when I come to France, hopefully soon (I have a pesky passport situation).
Haha, I live here… :)
ahhh That’s what I thought based on your post but your about section made it seem like you did not. Is there any french music you recommend? Though I love Charles Aznavour and Edith Piaf has some songs I like I can’t seem to find current stuff. When I visit my relatives all I hear are
American songs on the radio.
French music is tough. So many great artists who sing in English :)
I personally love Françoise Hardy (another classic though), but as for current I would suggest Coeur de Pirate, or even Carla Bruni’s stuff. Depends on your music styles, but there is also Mathieu Chedid, Zazie & Yelle.
I hope this helps!
