Happy Birthday, Liz. (And Happy Canada Day to the world!)

It is the celebration of her 21st year on earth with the rest of us crazies.

Liz is the Ying to my Yang. She’s the elegantly cynical gal that always can make me smile. And damn is she classy. (Don’t forget to take a peek at her eyes – the bluest that I’ve every bloody seen!) Despite the fact that I’m always in Franceland, Liz will always be my gal. Distance makes the heart grow fonder [insert accent of choice].

Liz and I have been pals for almost half of our lives. We’ve grown and traveled and done our thing, and always seem to come back obsessing over people watching, gossip, and clothes and elegant trifty accessories and antique and decor thingamagigs. I guess the only way to put it is that she is the Ying to my Yang. We are so different, yet so alike. And even though she doesn’t like musicals as much as I do (or at all), I still love her with all of my huge coeur ‘cuz she is my boo. But back to the whole birthday thing—- this gal can throw a killer party. So,  in honor of all of her crazily clever party ideas and the corky themed parties she has thrown in the past, I would like to cordially wish her a happy 21st birthday. You go girl.
