When I was 16 I did a year study abroad in France. Best move I could have ever made. I was thrown into a little dollhouse town in Normandy, Pont Audemer.
If it gives you an idea, there isn’t even a train station.
Quite the little place of all places, but full of personality and lovlieness. I went to the local high school and learned French while living with the most amazing host family. I want to share this little treasure of a town with everyone. So with Simon and Caro we hopped in a car and drove up on up while stopping at Deauville and Honfleur (right next door!).
If you get a chance, definitely go and check out what the little Normandy towns have to offer- and don’t forget to bite into a freshly picked apple and have a shot of Calvados after a Camembert filled meal.
Until next time, Pont Audemer.
The best city in Normandie…ever :)
It was a charming place to visit, with the BEST galette I’ve ever had.
